Adjustment: Umbrella Remover

The sun is the source of energy and life to the planet. Organisms like plants use sunlight to produce photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process by which plants convert sunlight into energy.

Certain plants, let’s use a sunflower in this example, need full sun exposure. Full sun exposure is defined as 6 full hours of direct sunlight. So, for a sunflower to function at its greatest potential, it needs at least 6 hours of direct sunlight if it is to perform at its best.

Let’s say we go up to a sunflower and place an umbrella next to it. The source (the sun) is at 100% potential but because the umbrella interferes with that full expression of sun, the potential is diminished. Instead of getting 100% of morning, noon, and afternoon exposure; it only gets morning and afternoon sun exposure, which will cut down the exposure to about 66%.

Over time this less than normal quantity of sunlight will effect the plant’s quality of life. Less sun, less potential for the plant to perform its main function: photosynthesis. If the plant can’t perform photosynthesis at its greatest potential, it will result in less energy or less life: certain leaves will start to wilt, turn brown, and die off.

As soon as we remove the obstructing umbrella, the plants potential to grow is now back at its greatest. If we give that plant enough time, it has the potential to rejuvenate and get back to its normalcy. “This is all well and good for the sunflower, but what does this have to do with me?” you are probably asking yourself.

Well, the umbrella is an analogy of how a vertebral subluxation can interfere with your potential to function at 100%.

That is the main principle of a specific chiropractic adjustment: remove the interference to the energy potential.

In a sense when you have a vertebral subluxation, certain aspects of you start to “wilt.” This wilting over time can result in a plethora of different symptoms and conditions. A vertebral subluxation cuts down on your full potential to function.

My goal is to help keep a vertebral subluxation removed from your Nerve System so it can function at its greatest. A healthy Nerve System results in a healthy body so you can have the greatest potential to grow.
