Once You Start Seeing a Chiropractor, You Have to go Forever, Don't You?

Once you start seeing a Chiropractor, you have to go forever, don't you?

Yes and no. It all depends on how you want to utilize Chiropractic. Chiropractic can be a healthy lifestyle choice or a disease-treating option. It’s up to you.

Some people just go to the Chiropractor when their neck or back pain flares up. Others after the Advil stops taking the edge off their daily headaches. And some choose to include Chiropractic as a part of their lifetime health care routine.

Chiropractic is most effective if used like other healthy habits such as eating right and exercising. It’s all in how you use it.

You can eat nutritious food throughout life or go from one fad diet to the next between your nightly “midnight milkshake.”

You can be physically active throughout life or go to the gym occasionally as a “weekend warrior.”

You can utilize Chiropractic care throughout life or just use it when you “feel like it.”

I’m not saying healthy lifestyle choices require a strict military-style regiment. But the opposite is not the best course of action either.

Is it better to eat healthy from time to time than not? Yes.

Is it better to exercise once a week than zero times a week? Of course.

Is it better to get adjusted once a year than never at all? Absolutely.

Will you reach your health potential by only making these healthy lifestyle choices once in a while? No way.

You are what you think, say and do.

Habit drives lifestyle choices. Bad habits will breed bad choices, good habits breed good choices. Being healthy takes time, energy and conscious choice.

Healthy habits require a shift in your daily choices and actions. Doing something “forever” means you plan on incorporating it into your life for the long run. If the “habit of Chiropractic” has the potential to improve the quality of your “forever”, why would you want to stop?
